Human beings can eat virtually anything ranging from
mammary(milk) secretions to minerals of the earth crust, including fruits, flowers, seeds, stalks, leaves, seaweeds,roots,fungus,eggs
of birds and fishes even to dead bodies of variety of animals.
Right from creation, God have given us the right to take
every living thing around us as food but we still need to mind the way these
foods are being taken into our body system to avoid their detrimental or negative
impact on us. On daily bases the decisions we take concerning our eating habit
determine how healthy we are at the end of the day, so the need to be very ,careful
and mindful of what we consume as food becomes very very indispensable.In our
next blog,we shall attempt to mention some of these food items,their
composition nutrient value to human health.
All of these processed to a greater or lesser degree,provide food for million of
people out there at different market places. However, all of these are not fit for human consumption because of
health implications. The essence of food is to nourish our body and to prevent
disease as a result there is the need to plan what we take in as food at any
point in time.
